Same-Day Flower Deliveryin Fogo Island

At about 2,000, Fogo Island is the kind of place where the florist recognises the address before they read the postcode. We deliver here through whoever actually covers the area rather than a depot three hours away, which is the only way flowers arrive looking the way they did when they were made.

Tilting is 8 km from Fogo Island, and 6 of the communities we serve sit within 50 km of it. A driver covering Fogo Island is usually covering Tilting, Fogo and Change Islands on the same run, which is why late-morning orders here still make the afternoon.

Fogo Island keeps Newfoundland Time, so the same-day cutoff here is 1:00 PM NT — worth noting if you are ordering from another part of the country, because it may be earlier or later than the clock in front of you. Order by then, Monday to Saturday, and it goes out that day. Sunday delivery is not available. Delivery is a flat $19.99.

Across Fogo Island, the reasons people send flowers are the usual ones: birthdays, anniversaries, sympathy, and thank-yous. Whichever it is, you are choosing from the same catalogue a Fogo Island florist builds from, so what you see is what can actually be made locally — not a stock photograph of an arrangement that turns up looking nothing like it.

Sending flowers to Fogo Island

Arrangements go to homes, offices, hospitals and funeral homes throughout Fogo Island. If you are sending to a hospital or a care home, tell us at checkout — some have rules about what can come onto a ward, and a local florist will know them. For a funeral home, the timing matters more than the address: give us the service time and we will work back from it.

The delivery area we cover from Fogo Island runs out to about 34 km, as far as Frederickton, with 6 communities inside 50 km. Each of those has its own page, so if you are not sure which one an address falls under, start from whichever name you recognise — they all reach the same Newfoundland and Labrador florists.
