Same-Day Flower Deliveryin Porters Lake

At about 3,500, Porters Lake is the kind of place where the florist recognises the address before they read the postcode. We deliver here through whoever actually covers the area rather than a depot three hours away, which is the only way flowers arrive looking the way they did when they were made.

West Chezzetcook is 4 km from Porters Lake, and 6 of the communities we serve sit within 50 km of it. A driver covering Porters Lake is usually covering West Chezzetcook, Lake Echo and East Chezzetcook on the same run, which is why late-morning orders here still make the afternoon.

Porters Lake keeps Atlantic Time, so the same-day cutoff here is 1:00 PM AT — worth noting if you are ordering from another part of the country, because it may be earlier or later than the clock in front of you. Order by then, Monday to Saturday, and it goes out that day. Sunday delivery is not available. Delivery is a flat $19.99.

Across Porters Lake, the reasons people send flowers are the usual ones: birthdays, anniversaries, sympathy, and thank-yous. Whichever it is, you are choosing from the same catalogue a Porters Lake florist builds from, so what you see is what can actually be made locally — not a stock photograph of an arrangement that turns up looking nothing like it.

Sending flowers to Porters Lake

Arrangements go to homes, offices, hospitals and funeral homes throughout Porters Lake. If you are sending to a hospital or a care home, tell us at checkout — some have rules about what can come onto a ward, and a local florist will know them. For a funeral home, the timing matters more than the address: give us the service time and we will work back from it.

The delivery area we cover from Porters Lake runs out to about 14 km, as far as Musquodoboit Harbour, with 6 communities inside 50 km. Each of those has its own page, so if you are not sure which one an address falls under, start from whichever name you recognise — they all reach the same Nova Scotia florists.
