Beautiful FlowersDelivered in Hay River

At about 3,500, Hay River is the kind of place where the florist recognises the address before they read the postcode. We deliver here through whoever actually covers the area rather than a depot three hours away, which is the only way flowers arrive looking the way they did when they were made.

Hay River stands on its own a bit. The closest community on our map is Buffalo River, a good 42 km away, so deliveries here are handled locally rather than absorbed into a run from a larger centre. Ordering in the morning rather than at lunchtime makes a real difference to whether it lands the same day. Nearby we also serve Buffalo River, Pine Point and Kakisa.

Hay River keeps Mountain Time, so the same-day cutoff here is 1:00 PM MT — worth noting if you are ordering from another part of the country, because it may be earlier or later than the clock in front of you. Order by then, Monday to Saturday, and it goes out that day. Sunday delivery is not available. Delivery is a flat $19.99.

Across Hay River, the reasons people send flowers are the usual ones: birthdays, anniversaries, sympathy, and thank-yous. Whichever it is, you are choosing from the same catalogue a Hay River florist builds from, so what you see is what can actually be made locally — not a stock photograph of an arrangement that turns up looking nothing like it.

Sending flowers to Hay River

Arrangements go to homes, offices, hospitals and funeral homes throughout Hay River. If you are sending to a hospital or a care home, tell us at checkout — some have rules about what can come onto a ward, and a local florist will know them. For a funeral home, the timing matters more than the address: give us the service time and we will work back from it.

The delivery area we cover from Hay River runs out to about 121 km, as far as Fort Resolution, with 1 community inside 50 km. Each of those has its own page, so if you are not sure which one an address falls under, start from whichever name you recognise — they all reach the same Northwest Territories florists.
